Narrow Head Flashbutt Welder
Precision Welding For Every Application
The Narrow Head Flashbutt Welder provides an innovative solution for welding turnouts in transit areas and within tight confines where flashbutt welding was previously impossible. The tall and narrow design requires minimal clearance to successfully weld close to adjacent rail or fixed objects.
The truck is fitted with the latest Aeries hi-rail system and a 35t crane allowing the weld head to be deployed up to 8 metres from the truck. It also features an oversize Cat C15 generator allowing for continuous welding in a fixed plant scenario, and an electric over hydraulic operating system
This highly versatile machine allows for an optional destressing weld head which can be swapped over in less than 30 minutes.
